Maybe I'm a week late, but better late than never, amiright?
I took a long break from the blog over the holidays, mainly because I was too busy to think about anything other than getting through each passing day. From holiday party to shopping to secret and not-so-secret wrapping mixed in with two kids and a husband home for several weeks and new clients to attend to, I had to cut something out. The blog, for a short while, had to go.
Wipe your tears. It will be okay.
I am back now and as ready as ever to share my wisdom <snicker> with the world.
What is your New Year's Resolution? I am starting my new year off by following doctor's orders. She said I needed to start running again. As a relatively young person, she said, in addition to my BeachBody workouts, I should be running as much as possible. I am a former runner and a certified running coach, but I had put running on the backburner due to some joint inflammation that was made worse by this pastime. She told me that the meds that I was not taking would take care of the inflammation, and running would take care of my lungs, heart, and basically everything else.
I went for my first run yesterday. I'm not even going to pretend that it didn't suck. It was 11 degrees outside. To put that in perspective, I get cold when it drops below 80. But, I did complete it and I am going out again today for two more miles. Curious in my training plan? I'll have it up in a couple of days so you, if you are a novice runner or getting back to it like me, can follow along.
Until then, keep active and stay healthy!
